It captures answers from the live consumer interface, flags Ghost Citations and Answer Hijack Alerts, and proposes fixes you approve or authorize for auto-publishing. AEO Pal is powered by DecoderMind.
SEO focuses on visibility in search results. AEO, or Answer Engine Optimization, focuses on appearing in answers. GEO, or Generative Engine Optimization, applies that goal to generative engines such as ChatGPT and Perplexity. AEO Pal covers AEO and GEO through answer tracking, citation analysis, audits, and fixes to your own website.
AEO Pal is built primarily for agencies, followed by in-house SEO teams and SMB owners. Starter covers one brand, Agency covers five, and Enterprise supports unlimited brands. Each plan combines daily answer tracking with audits, citation analysis, and proposed fixes, so teams can connect monitoring with work on their own websites.
Ghost Citations are mentions of your brand in an AI answer without a link to your website. AEO Pal detects these unlinked mentions on every plan. They help distinguish being talked about from being cited, alongside Source Map and Citation Gaps, which show the sources cited for your prompts and where competitors appear.
Answer Hijack Alerts flag when an AI engine answers a question about your brand using a competitor’s content and cites that competitor as the authority. AEO Pal includes these alerts on every plan. They identify a specific citation problem you can investigate in the captured answer and address through content on your own website.

How tracking works
AEO Pal runs your prompts through the live consumer AI interface from the country, state, or city you choose. Live Capture stores the full answer, chat history, citations, brand mentions, and competitor mentions. Every plan refreshes daily. The method records the interface buyers use rather than relying on developer API output.
Starter and Agency refresh tracking daily. Enterprise supports daily or custom refresh arrangements. AEO Pal stores captured answers in the Answer Archive so you can inspect the answer, citations, and mentions over time. Daily tracking is the approved self-serve cadence; the platform does not promise continuous updates as each AI answer changes.
Yes. Every plan lets you choose one country, state, or city per brand for Live Capture. On Agency, each of the five brands can have its own location. Enterprise adds Local Tracking across multiple countries, states, cities, and ZIP codes, plus multi-language and multi-region tracking for teams that need broader coverage.
The Answer Archive stores each captured answer with its full chat history, citations, brand mentions, and competitor mentions. It is included on every plan and is searchable over time. The archive lets your team examine the evidence behind monitoring findings instead of relying only on a summary of brand visibility or sentiment.

Live Capture records answers from the live consumer AI interface rather than the developer API. Each capture uses the location selected for the brand and stores the answer and its citations. Fix Queue turns findings into proposed website fixes, including meta descriptions, JSON-LD, FAQ schema, direct-answer blocks, heading hierarchy changes, content updates, and new content. It is included on every plan. You approve each fix or authorize auto-publishing, and AEO Pal publishes through your connected WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow site.
No. You can review and approve individual fixes in Fix Queue, or grant permission for auto-publishing. AEO Pal publishes through your connected CMS after approval or authorization. Both workflows are available on every plan, so using the platform does not require handing over publishing decisions for every proposed change to your website.
Publish Connectors support WordPress, Shopify, and Webflow on every plan. These are native integrations connected from inside AEO Pal. They let the platform publish approved fixes or changes covered by your auto-publishing permission. Content Studio follows Brand Rules when creating or rewriting content, and Fix Queue organizes the changes for review or publishing.
AEO Pal detects issues and publishes fixes on your own website for AI engines to read. It does not edit third-party AI models. Enterprise AI Fact Audit can detect factual errors or outdated claims and draft corrective pages, FAQs, JSON-LD, or llms.txt changes for approval and publishing through the same website workflow.
No. Community Reply Drafts, available on Enterprise, prepares replies for high-authority Reddit and LinkedIn threads that AI engines cite. The user posts those replies. This is separate from Publish Connectors, which publish approved or authorized website changes to WordPress, Shopify, and Webflow. Community Reply Drafts does not provide automated third-party posting.

AI Traffic & Conversions identifies referral traffic from AI engines and maps sessions to sign-ups, leads, and sales using GA4 and Google Search Console. It is included on every plan. This connects the visibility work to traffic and conversion reporting, alongside the answer-level evidence collected through Live Capture and stored in the Answer Archive.
